Default Rustler Basher Tires

Normally run on an indoor track so no idea what tires to get for my grandson's rustler. Super loose open field bashing spot is where we need tires. Would like to keep stock fronts and just get the rears if that will work. Would also like them to last awhile. If there is a tire that will also handle the street, that would be great. Thanks.

HPI Geolanders. They hook up just about anywhere. My favorite tires for dirt are the tractagators, but you can't run them onroad.

I'm sold on 1/8 buggy tires on a rustler,no stripping hexes, great performance and cheap once you by the adapters.

Gladiators. 1/8 buggy tires are too narrow for my uses (bashing)

They are a little narrower but a the duratrax lockup or big blocks on a rustler are increadible for bashing. The are so much more durable and dont ballon as much. My daughter flips her 4s rustler and gives it full throttle and the tires never come unglued or break a rim or strip a hex. Before this would happen every single time. They are also lighter than 2.2. or 2.8 and just a little taller to help you get over stuff and keep you from bottoming out so much.

If you want to go Buggy Tire - those Big Block tires on eBay (Proline Badlands XTR Clone).

2.8's? Trenchers!

2.2 Truck, I'd say Gladiator's or M2K's.

Thanks for the info all. Went with 2.8 PL DirtHawgs and they are hooking up really good.
