I got mine right from Avid. 22 spring cups and RPM uppers cheapest way to do it. You can get Ghea uppers , but I'm waiting to check out the new Avid upper collars coming out.

Speaking of Spring Cups, I just changed mine with the RPM lower Spring cups this car is now handling like a dream.

it seems the stockers were either flexing or the entire spring was not sitting on the Cup because its night and day difference.

Question in regards to weight/ballast?

I dont have the FT Ballast weight but I do have some fishing line weights that I want to distribute. Now do you guys run your battery to the fron or the the back of the chassis. Also where do you place the weights?

I run my battery all the way forward and I have 3oz. in back of battery tray, 1/2oz next to RX and 1/2oz on front bumper, next to the bulkhead/a-arms.

I run a standard b4 pad in the front of my pack. 3 ounces of weight under the battery foam behind the battery. 1/4 oz next to receiver. I want to try less weight in the truck and also a shorty pack. I only run 17.5 blinky (no esc timing).

I've got nearly every Avid product on its way for my SC10

Steering rack, A/C carbon hub upper, F/R Spring sets. The quality looks awesome and I look forward to running these products. I think I'm going to just stick to the 22 cups and Traxxas uppers for now. Not really digging the slip on spring retainers for some odd reason...

You can use either Boca bearings or Avid. I usually use Avid.

I kinda feel the same way about the slip on things. I'm presently using Proline Powerstrokes with M2C Racing pistons and the White Avid springs on. They are a perfect fit. I also have the hex adaptors installed and the steering rack. Damn good products!

I would only use them in the transmission. Anywhere else just get the $1 Avid's. You can mix and match with the Avid kits.
