he meant the steering rack, where the two parts meet right below the servo saver spring. what it does is that it makes the steering more accurate and responsive. or you can upgrade to the avid, jconcepts or even the ae rack which deletes the need for the servo saver

JJ, Get some track time with the FT Truck. All of the "upgrades" won't mean anything if you can't get around the track. The Niceities like Big Bores and Alum steering racks will help but things like new CVD's, Turnbuckles, Diff, RPM bumpers, etc are not neccessary IMO. The FT team equip is very high quality... Hexes make it nice because you can use the same tires on the front and rear, other than that they really don't serve a performance upgrade. I would reccomend when you do decide to get some new tires to go with the +3mm rims. I use DE Borrego rims, I like the way they look. Hope this helps

I have made a good decision. Im gonna run my Losi esc and Team Checkpoint 19T "Money Motor" in my mod factory team sc10 until it gives up on me.
I have it geared 84/19 im pretty sure it will be fine geared this way.
I was gonna run a 10.5 brushless system in it anyways, so that can help
getting me prepared for that upgrade. That team checkpoint motor is a BEAST on Lipo power. I really wish that company was still around. They made the best brushed motors money could buy!

I was running a brushed more in my kids sc10 with a lipo. It got tor up pretty quick. I still have my lathe, so I can cut it. But that motor wont last too long. A 10.5 will haul butt though. I tried one in my sc10 and even boosted it a little and it haul booty around the track.
