I think they mean to run the whole motor mount/diff carrier/diff section backwards, so the motor hangs to the rear. From memory, I'm not sure there would be enough room where the mech brake servo is meant to go for the eBuggy motor. It might work with sc motors though. It would be tight and need measurement if so, and isn't just a screw change though.

Same thing with diff oil and shock oil.... a little bottle in the hobby shop priced like a quart at an auto parts store.

Need some help. Under hard braking situations my rear end wants to come around. Should I change my setup to help correct this or just decrease my brake?

What's your setup? What's your brake? Are you braking for a turn (and starting the turn when it comes around)? Or are you talking about heading down a straight.. and you brake and the rear comes around?

From a physics standpoint, an item that is sliding (rear wheels) - like hyrdoplane - has less friction and wants to pass things that have more friction (the front wheels, which aren't). So the rear end comes around. So for setup, you could try to tune your diff fluids, or maybe even droop.

HOWEVER, your front also has about 75% more traction under braking, so at some point your rear end is most likely going to brake free quicker than your front. So you may also have too much brake.

Basically, I have no answer - but your setup and the conditions where this occurs might help get you one!

i this a problem that just developed? or has it been like this since day one?

If it has always been like this i would check setup (given that you are at the same track)

If it is something that has developed i would look at the drive train. Make sure none of the outdrives are showing excessive wear and all the bearings/ diffs are working properly.

If you need the brake to kick the rear out on some 180s or it isn't too much brake elsewhere, then I would start by reducing rear droop a little (provided you're not already running reduced rear droop). If you're locking all 4 wheels up and sliding anywhere, I would start by reducing braking power in the esc.

Anything else, such as diff or shock changes would need the full setup to look at and see if they are reasonable suggestions.
