Like driving on sandpaper, only 6 packs on the tires holding up pretty good, almost no loam left on the track, gonna try Hybrids thanks

I just finished rebuilding my shocks that I haven't touched in at least 4 months. I run indoors without shock boots and I just had the slightest bit of dirt in the oil, just at the end of draining the shock body...awesome! Love my eb48.2!

Not sure if I should post my EB48SL here or in the SCT410 thread. Anyway went to the track last week and I wasn't happy with a few things. Swapped the VTX8 for a RX8 Gen2, upgraded the servo to a Savox 1258TG, and installed an aluminum driveshaft. I also installed EB48 Shock Towers and got a new body for a bit of bling.
On to the pics...
I've also spent a great deal of time tuning the center diff and suspension set-up. Looking forward to my next track day

I went budget at 1st and got a used VTX8 and a lighter duty Spektrum servo but after my first track day I wasn't as enthusiastic on that setup. I like the Viper, it's very tunable but (maybe I'm just too use to the feel of Tekin) it just didn't feel right to me. Could be because it was used and had issues. The servo just wasn't strong enough.

Thanks! I really enjoy 1/8 eBuggy but didn't have a place to track/race one since WCRC closed. When I 1st saw the Buggy Lite conversions I confirmed I could run one at my local 1/10 track (SCVRC) and pulled the trigger on the build. Figure I can also make the drive to OCRC on occasion.

On the setup sheets, under "Shocks", we have the:
STD/EMUL/VENT options.
On a lot of setup sheets, both here on the forum and Tekno's website, "STD" appears to be quite common.
My kit came "standard" with vented caps.
To try one of the other options:
-emulsion
-non-vented
...you'd have to purchase either some optional, non-vented caps and/or o-rings or even the composite caps with bleeder screws and o-rings.
I went to the non-vented caps and use "STD" on my setup sheets, whereas before that I used "VENT" when using the standard (stock) vented caps.
Is this correct? If so, is everyone who puts "STD" on their setup sheets buying the optional non-vented caps? Or are they using "STD" to denote the "standard" as that which came in the kit (vented caps)?
Thanks - Jim

Hmm, I forgot about IERC. It's a bit of a drive but it seems to be a nice venue. I'll have to make plans to check it out.
I used to really like wcrc, but IERC is great and good dirt too, the current layout is a little mild but fast and fun. give it a try
