Looks like the shock towers clamp over some sort of an aluminum insert thats used to mount the inner camber links...

Other than that it looks very xx4..... a 2.0 much like others have said. Wonder if there wasa an issue with keeping the motor cool....?

!!!! FINALLY!!!!

I'm wondering if TLR did realize how much awaited this car had been. I almost prayed for this car to be a updated XX-4 , and so it looks like . Even the rear shock mount is same style "around the diif" like in the original XX4. But as far as we can see all the weak points have been revised- shock towers look bulletproof. If the car is belt drive, they for sure have replaced belts with wider belts ( or at least front belts are not module 2mm but as rear 3mm)

I loved the way xx4 handled , it was much asier to drive than B44 etc. shaft cars are just to sensitive.

Hmm, carbon fiber battery case or did they do some chassis swaps during testing?

Many batteries have a carbon fiber look-alike paint.

This buggy looks sweet!
