Their 1/8 truggy came out fairly quick. Crossing my fingers that TD releases their 2wd SC ahead of it's mid-July ETA.

I wonder if MM will work better on this truck running on clay or dirt surfaces with the longer chassis and the added weight of the rear bumper.

I was checking out some ordered today at our shop and see that the Durango 210R is listed to be able to backorder now at GP sp I placed my order. Going to go against my norm and I will try one out.

Good thing you ordered it for me. You beat me to it. I will plenty of time to have it ready for October indoor season to start.

So from what I'm reading and seeing this new truck will pretty much use most of the same parts as the 210 buggy correct? I'm not really the best at setting these up and it will be great to finally have 2 cars that are really similar. Also, I'm thinking that personally keeping parts in stock will be easier now since they both share so much right?

From what i can see, most parts are shared just like how the DEX410 and DESC410 share parts. But the front hubs might be different to accommodate the big TD hexes and wheels, arms for sure, body posts, shock towers, rear drive shafts,etc........hmmmm,maybe not too many shared parts.

The Desc210r shares rear hubs with the the ST and 210 buggy. Front hubs and carries are shared between the ST and 2wd SC truck but are different than the 4wd SC.

Thanks Randy! Can you please tell TD to release the kit mid-end of June instead of mid July? And if you can get Tekin to release the Pro 2, RSX, Pro 4 HD by then too.

I'm really sorry for the dumb question but I'm confused on something here. I bought my 210 used and built so this might explain some of my confusion since I did not build it. Why is it that I'm seeing RM setups with the motor on the right and or left side of the truck? I thought when in rear mode the motor was on the left of the truck and in MM the motor is on the right? Again, sorry if this is just something I should know by now.

you can run either 3 or 4 gear transmission, with 4 gear the motor will be on the opposite side than your used to.

If you're basing your RC selection on wheel swapability, then perhaps you should re-think being in the sport all together... Unless you're just in it for the bashing. (In which case you shouldn't even be considering a brand that's slogan is: "SERIOUS ABOUT RACING"
