This product looked interesting so I went and picked up a can on my lunch break . Perfect timing as I'm looking to rebuild all my cars this week for nitro challenge

Please let us know how it worked out for you.

3 cans sent out today. I still have 2 more cans sitting on my desk if anyone else wants to take me up on the Free can for video review offer above.

This stuff is great. Tried it out on a humble Rustler in a bashing scenario. When applied to all the parts on a truck the cleanup is exremely easy. My supension has NEVER worked so good. The transmission spins much freer than a new one out of the box. As far as longevity Stay tuned for more video's to come. The only negative at this point is a light white or milky color on Dark surfaces which can be minimized by shaking the can often. Here is my Video

I am particularly fond of it on captured rod ends. Works great, doesn't attack plastic, leaves minimal (almost no) residue if you shake well and often.

Nice work brsilva, I'm glad it worked for you. I really had no idea how good or bad it would work on an R/C car/truck. We started making the product long after I had sold my Associated buggy, my 10L pan car, and my Traxxas truck.

=============

Should I start publicly shaming those who got a free can and promised a video review and haven't delivered yet. Should I name names?

=============

Had requests for the last two cans for reviews. Will be sending them out today.

I've already sent them both one WAKE UP!! PM, and just sent the second one...

If they don't like the product, then fine, liking the product wasn't part of the deal. Free can for an honest review was the deal. I held up my end.

good review brsilva ,ive been using a product thats available in Australia ,"CRC dryglide" which seems identical to RZ50.
never used it for bearings though ,might try now .But ,when it dry's and cure's (@24hrs) and then second coated ,its even better.

We use it for sliding doors ,and draws ,etc (in building industry)so you might find it(RZ50} in cupboard /door section .

You actually bring up a good question. PimeLine Do you know if there is a "Cure" time or is dry cured?

It's 1am on a Saturday, I'll find out first thing Monday morning for sure. When I've used it before it dried almost immediately.

I really think the answer's going to be a no on this.

From our site:
RZ-50 dries in seconds to a slick, colorless, odorless film that reduces friction, stops squeaks, reduces wear, repels dirt, dust and moisture... and stays where applied longer than any oil or silicone lubricant.

Ive done a bit of research,and it seems there are other noteable differences between the products mentioned
the "dry glide"available in Aus ,is highly inflamable ,is not recomended for electrical purposes ,and breakes down at temperatures @ 150f.Takes @10 mins to dry,with full cure accieved in 24 hrs.Its like paint/varnish ,and sticks to things a little .When ive used it ,as in ball joint etc ,after it dries i need to "crack the seal" by movement ,and then its ok, but no good for high-speed bearings ,it slows them down.
i looked on the RZ50 web site and noticed that its stable at very high temps (up to 500f for sustained periods),doesnt stick things up , and is non-conductive ,and more .
Ide like to try RZ50 myself ,and will see if i can import some to try here.
I live ,and race in far north Queensland ,and both myself and others here are allways looking for lubricants and protective sealants etc to combat fine dust contamination.RZ50 might be the answer.

thank you rick ,and primeline ,for introducing this usefull product to RC-Tech.

regards john

Talked to our product specialist, and like I thought, it's dry and ready within a minute or so. It will surely be ready by the time you put any parts back together.

Not sure exactly how products like this actually get delivered to Australia, I guess it would have to come via boat according to the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (I'd post a link, but can't yet). We ship RZ-50 to the U.S. and Canada, but do so via ground.

Nice work on the video MaplestreetRC, Thanks again!!

Just ordered a can to try on my 1/8 stuff. I've seen some pretty accelerated wear on outdrives and the like. I've tried greasing them and putting boots on them, but none of it stays in place and the grease goes everywhere (plus it attracts dirt like crazy). Will report back after I get some and get some time on it.
