I use lint-free industrial paper towels made by Caterpiller. They're clean, disposable, and 100% free for me. To clean the surfaces I've used denatured alcohol, tried motor spray, as well as lacquer thinner. Alcohol seems to work the best.
I think my problem is my wiring. I don't leave much slack and I think when I land on my front end that loosens up the esc. I could just reverse the battery pack and that would give the wires more slack, but I despise big loops and excess wire.

I actually have tried four or five different kinds of double sided tape for my ESC and only one has worked. Can't remember where I got it but remember that the ESC heats up unlike other pieces that are "stuck" to the vehicle. The tape has to be heat resistant. Also after I clean the area I let it sit for a while and then wipe off with a paper towel before applying the tape.

I use goo gone cleaner to spray down surfaces. It actually feels oily going on, but once I let it sit and then wipe the surface allows really good adhesion.
The servo tape I now use is this clear stuff that has a red wrapper on it. Can't remember what it is exactly but man that stuff is strong.

The +8 B4.1 chassis would make a T4 11mm shorter than stock. Not sure about the rules but why would you want a shorter truck? Not saying it might not work, just wonder why you want it.

No one has an opinions or answers on a question I asked a few days ago?
Regarding fluid in a gear dif. I remember from way back in my 1/8th days we used to tune with different fluids in the diffs. Why is it when I ask about running different weight fluid in this gear diff do people look at me like I'm crazy and tell me to stick with the grease? Can this gear diff not be tuned in a similar fashion? If so, what weight fluid would be a good baseline equal to the grease from the factory? I've been told 3k is similar.

Is anyone Doing the hex conversion for the B4 front end on to your T4?
I just ordered the parts, plan to use the axels and spacers properly to just run my current Rulux rears without the hex, just the pin like the current rears are on the T4.
If you have any experience with this, post up!

Figured id post some pictures of my T4. I havent had it long. Its a little different than most of the talk in here because I bought mine with intentions of finding a good basher that also handled well. I have been running stampede's for years and decided i wanted to try a stadium truck after my last stampede. I bought this T4 and love it so far. I have broken a couple small things, but i feel after some little upgrades it will be a really strong truck. The stampede is more durable, but the T4 out handles it by a lot and is much easier to control with brushless power. Not to mention the transmission is whisper quiet and smooth as glass
I also just bought a T4.1 and had plans to sell it, but my wife says she likes it better than her stampede she runs, so its staying too. No pictures of it yet, but here is mine:
