Well I had my first race with Sweep Tires and I am very impressed! I have put close to 4 hrs of track time on a pair of Square armors and they barley look worn! and our tracks can get a bit abrasive at times. Great Job Guys!

I've been soaking the tires during the week with SK white and race day I use SK blue. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes.

Most probably the blue compound. My son and me used silvers on the abrasive Duisburg track this year, and they were brilliant, but using silvers for almost 4 hours with almost little signs of wear does not seem possible to me. Still, they lasted fairly long, and I'd recommend them to everybody. Hopefully they will be chosen as the control tire for our 4WD nationals next year. Not only are they great in Duisburg on the (in dry conditions black groove) racing line, but also in the loose dirt next to it...

The square armours are a great all around tire.

Okay thanks guys. I got some in blue coming. To try out jc tires just where out too fast for practice. My indoor track is just to hard on tires. And it cost to much money for practice tires and race tires jc are a good tire but don't last long.

So far I've only used the open cell foams, but I'd like to give the molded inserts a try. If your track is smooth, go for the closed cell inserts, if it is rough, get the tires with the grey foam inserts, they are pretty good, not too soft.
