What are you guys using for pit boxes that they don't fit much stuff? a shoe box?

In the old days, I used to keep the bottom drawer filled with NiMH batteries and brushed motors, the box was really heavy back then.
Tell me about it. I used to have everything you have PLUS a motor box, battery box, lathe, discharge tray, tire warmers, motor cooler...... the list goes on and on.

Not to mention the rubber made container full of nothing but tires. I remember I had a hauler bag, a 3 box car carrying bag, the tool box and two rubber mades. AHHH the joys of brushed racing and ni cads.

Now I have almost everything you bring in one of those stanly fat max wheeled containers. (and I still have a ton of room in it )

I bring nearly everything on that list with me to the track. Failure to plan is a plan for failure.

Definitely need all of your spare parts. I also have a spare motor with me. Soldering iron, dremel, assorted screws and washers, shock oils, simple green and a wire brush for cleaning tires, motor spray, shop towels, all your tools, and definitely the manuals for all of your cars.

Hahah gold.

I bring everything I can fit. The one thing you don't bring is the one thing you will need.

Not really - some of the things in this thread are crazy though... I'm surprised no one suggested taking an oscilloscope TBH.

Everything I need to race, build, maintain one car, fits in a single 55g Stanley tote.

Onroad is a stackable Dewalt roller box.

Airplanes, is the same stanley tote, and a small toolbox of airplane specific stuff.

The shelfs are kinda nonsense. They're just clutter. Toss your unused car under your bench or back in your trunk.
