Default Futaba 3pk glitch problem

Alright, so I've had a 3pk with a Spektrum module in my rt5 for a while, and I've been experiencing lots of glitching. I'm running the servo (hitec 985 mg, pos but the only 6v servo i have lol) at 6v through a MMP (bec set to 6v). And on top of that, I have an lrp cap in the receiver. Still tons of glitch issues. I can't run the thing on 7.4v OR 6v with my savox, which is disappointing.

As a matter of last resort, I invested in the Futaba module and reciever combo, and I'm still getting glitching on 6v (futaba receiver that comes with the combo is only rated to 6v) setting. Don't even ask about the savox on that system lol.

So I'm thinking it's time to get a new radio? Lots of people have the new mt-4, which looks real nice for the price. Sorry for writing an entire book here, but I just want to see if i can do anything else before I ditch the 3pk and everything with it.
Please help lol
