Small bath towel from Walmart or the $.99 cent store.

I have a black Trinity pit mat, but the dark color isn't the best for locating small black screws.

A white towel, works better. (plus, easy to clean....throw it in the wash!)

I use some orange 24x24 microfiber car detailing towels. Helps me find screws and other nic-naks and do-dads that I set down. I just put some small squars or the hard velcro part onto my pit table and it stays put.

JP - Is the new pit mat the yoga mat type one I've seen or the setup board? I'm waiting for the setup board

Yoga mat is a great idea, after racing, you can flip the mat over, and exercise or meditate!

I'm pondering the idea of using canvas material sewing the edges and selling those. Maybe putting custom silkscreens or something. Could offer custom colors possibly too.

At the track I have a small black floor mat (cheap from walmart), but the black is hard to see screws n stuff on... Thinking maybe a carpet remnant in a lighter color...
I have the proline pit mat at my "permanent" pit station at home.
