Default Traxxas Bandit, old and new

Hi All,

After breaking my old Schumacher 1/10 2wd buggy I've been looking for something to replace it with and have decided I'd like either a bandit, rustler or slash 2wd.

In looking at a bandit, I have found one for sale but it is quite an old bandit, 10 years probably. Maybe more. Could anyone please advise me if the old bandit takes the same spares as the current vxl model?

Also, is it a good basher? That's all I want it for.

Cheers,

Tim

Its a good basher but id be worried about the old plastics being brittle . I think you could find a new bandit/rustler/slash cheap enough that you dont need to buy one thats ten years old . Good luck

Thanks, the only reason I asked is that the roller is $30 posted.

Do you know if current bandit parts fit? If so then I can just slowly upgrade brittle bits to RPM.

Thanks for your response.

I have a stampede thats older than that! I still bash it (2s lipo, mm, 4300kv bl) and it just keeps going! only problem is rampent wheelies resulting in a broken wheelie bar. orig plastics all around minus the rpm front bumper and 1 newer toe link.
