Default odd issue- Tekin Rs and Spektrum dx3r

Got a strange issue going on i did post it in Radio and electric but i kinda need a quicker answer.

ok so here is what im using.

Spektrum dx3r (not the pro)
Tekin Rs ESC
Spektrum rx 3100

ok this is whats happening. When i hit full throttle the motor seems to slow slightly. Like it ramps up to full throttle then slows down slightly.

I personally dont think this is normal so what could be the issue?

Is there a setting on the speedo thats doing this?

I just got the radio back from Spektrum as well, they mentioned something about the Calibration screen but didnt include the paper explaining how or what i need to do.

Can anyone explain what to do with that screen as well?

This is how you calibrate your DX3R to your Tekin RS.

With your radio on. Press your mode button on your Tekin RS for 3 seconds.
LEAVE trigger centered for neutral, wait for charm from your RS.
PULL trigger to full THROTTLE, wait for charm again.
PUSH trigger to full BRAKE, wait for charm again.

I have a DX3R myself with a Tekin RS Pro. If your problems don't go away. Check your radio calibration and throttle trim settings on the radio.

Here is my settings on my DX3R
Thottle trim +0
My Travel is for Throttle H146% L120%
My Sub Trim is for Throttle 19H

I hope this helps

The DX3R also has an internal calibration. Download the manual if you don't already have it and calibrate the transmitter FIRST, then calibrate the Tekin to the transmitter.

Click here for the manual Start on Page 26, continues to the middle of the right column on page 27.

if the problem persists, its probably your car battery not being able to handle the load. If you have another pack try that first.

In the video your led's are NOT flashing at full throttle. They should all light up and flash which they do not in your video.

Good that you got it working. In Naval Aviation, we call that FM. (F'ing Magic)
