Anyone got any Rally hop up parts? I'm putting one together and I'm looking for some CVD's, Carbon fiber shock towers, belt tensioner, etc.

For all your carbon fibre parts you may want to email a uk company called Fibre Lyte, they also do loads of other carbon parts for other cars......

I got my top chassis plate from them. Very nice and arrived in a week. I wish they made parts for the MT. It would be sweet to have a source for the MT chassis plate and rear shock tower.

Has anybody got some suggestions as to how I can eliminate the steering slop on my car? I remember when I built a Rally from the box that it had some slop right from the beginning, but as time goes on the slop gets worse and worse. It's most noticeable on the steering bellcrank area.

Theres 3 things that i can think of........

1. Use a ball stud on each of the steering arms where the bent wire goes and use a turn buckle to bridge the gap..........

2. Fully tighten/lock/glue the servo saver, doing this though you must use a good metal geared servo........

3. Use an alloy servo saver and as above use a good metal geared servo.......

Absolutely get rid of that wire link first, but have you replaced the plastic bushing in the bellcrank with bearings? The plastic bushings wear quickly where they ride on the shaft.

I just got my first rs4 rally, complete with inner body, manual and electronics, all in pretty much new condition
For 80us$, I figured I got a great bargain!?

I know it may not be the easiest car to get parts for, but it will not be a shelf queen, it will be driven!

Here's a few pic's from the auction

Have any of you guys purchased the new TeamBlueGrove inner RS4 rally bodies yet? They look perfect as far as design goes but I thought I'd ask to see if anyone here has tried one on for sure.

They are here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HPI-RS4-RALL...-/150989152431

I'm not sure why they are not sold as a set...

I bought the top one (my used car came with only the bottom one) and I'd say it's definitely worth it. The material is a little more rigid and seems a bit thinner than the stock material. The fit is excellent. At that price I felt it was important to get it right away to support TBG's support of our car, and I'm glad I did.

Someone just posted a nice Rally on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/HPI-RS4-Rall...-/281151439753

I'd get it if I had the funds, it's really clean.

Just bought myself my first "real" RC-car, and it is a RS4 Rally.
The wheels have seen better days and so is it with the shocks to.
New wheels have been bought but I've got some troubles finding any good shocks, since I don't know what I'm looking for.

My next problem is that i would like Lipos-batteries instead, but as I understand from what I've been reading I would need to get som Hi+Low-alarms. Right?
