I definately appreciate that Casper adds in what most of the option parts he uses right there on his setup sheet... including the part numbers. Very detailed. I like it!

The blue spring on the truck is really good. I've been running it since it became available.

This is why we have lots of team guys post setups. Some like different feels in there cars to meet driving styles or track conditions. These setups should feel good for people that have liked my setups in the past. These setups tend to give the car a very stable feel. May not be fast but they should be consistant. The SCT setup is a little more free then I would normally post but the truck is fast and I can lay down consistant lap times with it so I posted it up. I value consistant over fast lap speed.
I ran your xxxt-cr blue buggy spring setup and loved it!!

Can you use 4 hole 55's on this setup also, or is it better with the 2 hole 1.6's?

You can run it with 4 hole pistons. The 2 hole make the truck land a little better and the body of the truck does not move around as much around the track. It just feels a little more stable and planted. Dunford was running the same setup with 4 hole pistons and his truck works great but we both agreed the 2 hole were better.

Links to all the setup mods and such are with the setup sheet link but here it is again.

I ordered my drill bits from Mcmaster

http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-drill-bits/=k1sf17

You can use a pin vise to hold the bit.

Go buy the Associated Big bore pistons for 3 dollars. They come in two hole 1.5 1.6 1.7 and they fit better.

Really? I was talking to one of the TLR guys, he tried it and said that the AE big bore pistons were too loose in the shocks (undersized).

Thanks Casper...right on.

Just to confirm in order to run the 22T wheels on the 22SCT I will need to mount the 22T spindles in the front and the 22T hubs in the rear correct?

No you need 22T front axles and 22T rear axles.

The issues is the axles are not long enough to go through the thicker section in the 22T wheels.

The spindles actually clear the truck wheel the best I could tell without mounting them up tight.

You may end up needing 22T spindles as I did not double check bearing spacing but you may be able to shim that or I just don't know.

Anyone?

Assuming your diff and slipper are setup so the slipper gives first you should be ok going to carpet. Now your setup may be way off as carpet tends to be much higher traction so you may need to do some adjusting there with stiffer springs and lower the ride height.

Gearing. What are the motor temps. Are you adding any boost or timing in the ESC? Is it getting over all the jumps ok?

I'm running a ballistic 13.5 with 1 dash of (+) motor timing. 15 degrees of boost and no turbo. Motor after a 5 minute race on low bite clay is around 135 and the esc doesnt usually break 105. It usually will make all the jumps but on one particular jump, if I don't hit the one before it perfect, i dont make it clean. I think my slipper was a bit loose to. I took it off to check the pads and there was more dust than usual.

Front suspension... #55 pistons, 35wt oil, and green springs

Rear suspension.... #55 pistons, 30wt oil, and pink rear truck spings
