Just picked up my 22T any tips/tricks? So far all I'm going to put on are the things I've done to my 22 buggy as well- bleeder emulsion shocks, front threaded upright hinge pin (forgot the name, haha), battery hold down, flanged wheel nuts, aluminum servo arm. That it so far.

I purchased the gear diff for my 22T and it is rubbing inside the trans housing somewhere (the edges of the teeth I think) put the the ball diff back in and it spins smooth. Anyone had this issue or fix for it. Thanks in advance

Flip the gear diff and try again.

Pretty much build it like it says except what you have mentioned. Some are putting a wider front hex to prevent the ball cups from coming off during a wreck.

For setup I've been liking Travis Brock's as a base but with the newer blue front spring, 3mm limiting, and 30 wt oil. In the rear I run the kit pink spring 1-inside shock position and 2 hole 1.55mm pistons with 27.5. I run on bigger indoor tracks that are usually well suited for 1/8th scale so I had to go up in dampening.

Sometimes I'll run 25/5 front kickup/caster.

You can download the manual and exploded views here:

I print out the manuals for my different cars/escs/radio/etc and put them in a 3-ring binder for the track. The actual OEM manuals go into a file cabinet here at home for safekeeping. The binder makes for a great resource at the track

Yes, the original OEM black 22T book is the one I am looking for so if anyone has an extra/spare one that they are willing to part with, that would be awesome to help out a fellow RC tech.

Would be easier certainly and save on paper for sure.

You guys are very helpful. Gotta love the great atmosphere here to keep the ST class going from here into the future.

Hopefully someone has a spare one (22T manual) just in case though, lol.
