Default Losi XXX SCB and Kyosho Ultima DB

If the SCB class takes off like it probably is going to, Could a Kyosho Ultima db and a losi xxx scb race in the same class? I only race kyosho and want to be competitive in this class as well.

I believe so. Looks like it's also based off of a short course chassis, and uses the same tires. Does it have similar wheelbase / track width dimensions?

i understand, they are so close in actual size, that they are running them together in other races. in 1:1 2WD Pro Buggy, the rigs are close to size, but not so close that the DB and the SCB wouldnt fit the same bill in the RC arena.

Why can't they??? Their both 10th scale buggies" The DB is a Ultima SC
truck with the body removed.

I race my SC-R with $60.00 worth of DB parts on it to make it a DB and
I love it. The thing rocks in the SC buggy class.

You can do thing same thing I did if you have concerns about the class
lasting. $60.00 is alot less investment to test the waters then buying a
buggy and having no place to race or sell it. It is less then 20 minutes to
convert it so you can run the SC and SCB class at the same race if theres
enough entry's to give you a few minutes to switch them back & forth.

Enjoy" I am"

yeah plus if the class takes off, you know Kyosho will re-think the DB..There are how many versions of the rb-5 Now?Point is Kyosho uprades when its needed..But yeah I say they are close enough that they should be in the same class.
