I posted this in the rc8te thread but got no response, but my question is more based on the LRP SPX8 and vector 8 modified motor....... Does anyone own this motor/esc combo, if so how does it perform and have you had any issues with it? And what exactly is a modified motor (sorry for the newb question), how is it different then an unmod. motor if at all, and whats the reliability on them? Thanks

Haven't used the motor, but I have used the SPX8 with a few different 550 motors. Always run on 2s, but esc has performed very well. If its as smooth on 3/4s with the vector 8 than you should be very happy with one.
