Ok. If I change from the 0 insert to a 1 up or down will there be a noticeable difference for such a small change? I don't want to buy all the inserts again for the 0 inserts. They are sloppy though... I was looking to use internal limiters instead of droop screws bc my tabs wont last much longer.

The amount of effect it will have can vary depending many things. You could probably negate that chNge with others though if you needed to.

As for the limiters, you can limit the shocks, but us usually when the tabs are wore out, its time yo replace the chassis.

without using screws, setting droop can get kinda of tough. because of the angle of the shocks, a 1mm internal limiter wont reduce droop a full 1mm.

Overall shock length is going to be your best bet, but droop will change depending on what holes the shocks are in if the overall shock length stays constant.

Also without the droop screws absorbing some of the force, any big hits that flex the arm will be likely to break the top of your shock shafts where the piston sits.

how old is your buggy? maybe time for a new chassis? they do tend to thin down over time...

My buggy is a year old. However, I didn't drive for 3 months. I would be surprised if my chassis was that worn as the rest of the buggy is in great shape. I guess some areas do look thin though. It sounds like replacing the chassis would be ideal. What is the difference between the 3 811 e chassis offered by Serpent?
Edit: It does look thin in a few areas. So I do need to replace it soon.

Do I have this correct? If I use 1 up in both blocks for the anti squat that will lower my roll center slightly, which will allow the front end to roll a little more which should create a little more traction on the front end. If I do 1 down in both it will have the opposite affect, correct?

I could be wrong but I believe that will have the opposite affect. I too would like a definite answer.

Was able to pick up a 2 Race 811 BE 2.0, have a few questions, going to run a Tekin RX8 Gen 2 with a Tekin 1900 kv. Track I plan on running is an outdoor , not very good traction, not very technical has a 125' straight.

Can anyone suggest a good Tekin ESC setup to start as well as gearing?

I plan on running the stock setup for the Serpent to learn the buggy.

Any recommendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also the buggy I bought us stock, I dud purchase the option 2 steering rack, is there any other upgrade I should consider?

Thank you!

I'd lower the current limiter to 35-70 and the timing down to 5-10. 16/46 is good almost anywhere.

The orange rear spring is popular and 2.3 front and 2.5 rear sway bars.

The aluminum rear wing mounts area good upgrade. It is also good to replace the 3 mm plastic nuts with metal nuts. Other wise the buggy is solid out of the box.

You have it backwards. Raising the block, rasies the the roll center, giving less roll. The opposite is true with the inside upper link, higher = lower roll center, more roll.

That is what I though also.
