Nope. Didn't fix the problem

Anyone know why the Pro 4 would sit under Throttle and make feint stutter noises. If I spin the shaft it will kick over and spin on throttle but the motor is almost a little glitchy in it's rotation. (rythmatic glitchy)

MMP Speedo
Pro 4
Tekin Sensor wire
In Smart Sense mode
Full battery
wired exactly as stated
~whole system begins to heat up as I test fixes

I had that happen to me once. The problem was the battery teminals shorted briefly and zapped the MMP board. I could plug it in afterwards and the lights would light but no sound. Would not spin the motor. Battery and motor wires got hot. I unplugged and shipped it off to Castle. I had a backup and it works perfectly fine.

The older MMP's had issues with the sensor on the board and would sometimes break off the board if you pushed the sensor plug in to hard. The newer style appears to be mounted better to the board.

I tore into it, it's definitely still on the board snug. Yup, silent arming, and warm wires. Can't believe that happened, I did not cross any wires. I am "stupid careful" about that stuff nowadays after plugging in a battery backwards last year.

I'm buying a new one tomorrow. I'm not waiting Till I get it back.

Yoo mr CoyoteSlash, what i can see in your spec you are running a sensor motor with the MMP Spedo?, if yes, you should not run it in Smart Sense mode..jack in the link and change to Sensor mode only.

Thats my tip

That just makes my heart hurt thinking about buying a losi( sorta like kicking a puppy and a kitten). One of my local fast guys runs the sc10 and he was in the upper bmain at the spektrum race. So I have a good source of tuning info and secrets:sneaky:. And so far I have not pissed him off with stupid questions and interruptions(great guy).
On the list for option parts are center diff, chassis brace, sway bars, and ?? I know Im forgetting something. lol gonna run stick packs to start. Thanks to everyone for all the info you share here. I have read 80%ish of the info here. I feel with all this info I should get it dialed quick.

Don't let someone talk you out of the sc10. My son was at the Spektrum race too, transponder quit working on lap two but he finished third in the b-main behind Micheal Page and Brian Mellows. The following week he told me the truck was jumpy? Couldn't figure out what he was talking about so I drove it. I made the mistake of not reprogramming the rx8 after getting it back from tekin. Now he has only been beat once since I reprogrammed the esc, just makes me wonder if he would have made the a-main for Spektrum! Oh well!

Thank you Marcus, looking forward to running it. ::)

Marcus, have you ever thought about making the ball diff for the B44.1? I'd be very interested in one.

i made one for my CAster S10 which would fit but it was a real pain to create!! Not much demand for the 4wd class although it seems to be picking up. the outdrives are where it gets costly.

So the caster one would fit the B44?
