Does that sound correct?

No, the track was fine. Yes, a little loose for clay, but everyone has to drive the same track.

If anything the layout was boring, but there was nothing wrong with the track.

[QUOTE=Cameron Kellogg;11364194]Track looks pretty good to me.

Hey Cain. That set up I posted is what I use for these conditions.

One: this is the sc10 thread....
Two: this was covered 3-4 pages ago.
Three: this is in no way a replacement to the current sc10 4x4

The conditions were on the line lots of drip off the line, script all large jumps eight scale track 35 weight oil all around stock set up as far as the mid Pistons go the Pistons Minnesota car would be a lot easier to be pushed harder but yet I still have traction roll set up before was two-stage pistons with the same way to oil the pistons were custom-made

hey, it's all good, man. This truck will help our truck. People will begin bouncing between the two and converting. And 3rd party are going to jump all over that new Prolite 4x4.

And to be honest. Anything is better than listening to the same Bad Wild Joke tech, 8mm mod, or Exotek chassis drabble going on in this thread. (that's no offense to you guys, but it's been the same record playing for 500 pages, we haven't moved on since the 8mm mod 5 months ago; but total offense to WC)

I'm chill. I just don't want to see the next 500 pages about this ProLite truck. Much like the topics you mentioned.

What I do want to talk about is stuff like. What are these "steel diff inserts" mentioned in the Pros set up sheets.

That was talked about quite a long time ago for pages upon pages too, for some humbling to ya. hehe

They are prototype steel versions of ours, the guys got. Talked to a guy a while back in AE and he said "soon" well over 6 months ago.

keddy 10-24-2012 06:30 PM

Yeah, I read about that much. Maybe someone has more info.
If I have to service the diffs less. I would enjoy the truck that much more.

Would be nice to see a FT SC10 4x4 .2 with revisions.

If the Sc10 4x4.2 was a reimagining similar to the RC8.2 with it's many changes but even taking it a step further, I would be most interested. (I don't mean making the 4x4 like the RC8, but the big changes that came with the .2) Taking where they left off with the SC10 4x4 FT and doubling up. I would feel as if I stuck with it for as long as I have, for a reason. Most guys walk by my pit and go "still got that thing, huh?" because it's "that" big of a deal.

Steel diff inserts

Looking at the diffs the only thing that comes to mind is the brass bushings changed out to steel, but the reason they are brass is something has to wear out and so the bushing is it, replace it with steel and it and the out drive will both wear.
