Default rough runnings

so i finally got my diff set pretty much where i want it (tight! hehe) and the car in general running well. then i take it out today and i noticed that when i take the glow stick off the plug it runs rough. if i put the glow stick back on the plug it smooths out, take it off again and it runs rough again.

what would cause this? i tried 2 glow plugs and they both do it. a friend suggested that i need OS #8 plugs, and the ones i had from my megatech .16 are too cold for it, but i dunno. what do yall think?

Your friend could be right..your engine might need a hotter plug.

It could simply be that your LSN is a little too rich, which would cause the same symptoms.

put the OS 8 in and immediately the engine smoothed out, and throttle response improved dramatically.

combined with switching from blue thunder to odonnel racing, i have no idea what to do with the extra power

I like the OS 8 also. That combined with 20% and I've got tons of power!
