I rubbed a nice deep groove into my plates. I just busted out the dremel and cut off the extra length and not have that happen again.

By the way, I bought the B4 arms last night since I have been running the B44 arms. The B4 arms are stiffer. It should be B4 then B44 then the carbon arms in terms of stiffness. So you were right.

I did not touch nor are the tranny screws rubbing.

I simply took one plate off and replaced it with another.

I thought about the shim thing. However, I am a bike mechanic and I have a theory on shims. Lets just say I don't use them unless spec'd by manufacturer.

I'm going to wait and see how AE replies to my email.
