Default Speed Passion Esc/motor combo

Hey guys I bought the SP Citrix stock esc and the Ultra Sportsman 17.5 sensored brushless motor.

I have it set up and am happy with the acelleration but kinda dissapointed with its braking characteristics.
I set the neutral, fwd and rev as told by instructions.

I cannot get the brakes to lock up the rear tires. It slows it down pretty quickly but it won't lock them up.

The way I read the destructions it looks like I need the programming card to make any programming changes...is this correct??

I'm using a Spektrum DX3R.Is there any changes I can make with the radio or must this be done with the ESC.

thanks........Gary

Why would you want to lock up your brakes? You bashing or racing? Locking up during a race won't benefit you. It will heat up the motor and speedo.
Do you have your brake settings in the speedo set to max?

If you have anymore questions. Please post it here.

A programming card would make programming easier. :-)

Looks like the default brake setting is 40% from what I could tell from the manual. If you race check around the pits for some one who has one. A Hobbywing / ezrun / SP program card will work.

Did you connect the program card to your pc. It might work with the software you can download here: http://www.speedpassion.net/uploadfi...setupV1_35.zip
