Look at tekno thread many rc8's and rc8b's have been done.

But this is much easier for me. Looking and or posting in those threads would require a decent amount of effort on my part. I'm just following suit.

i have an RC8BE via tekno chassis, with the ft brakes, and clutch driven, its the chassis for my "sc104x4"

ive yet to drive it as its not finished yet, im still waiting on a few parts and peices to come in.

what questions or concerns did yo uhavE?

Hmm. As an SC10 4x4 you say? I'm keeping mine a buggy, but I am interested in this conversion you're working on. I will consider making a new thread and asking you about it.

You got any pictures of it?

yeah, i put 2 sc10 4x4s on preorder, and im completely sick of waiting for them...

so sicne i have 4 sc8's already, i decided to turn one into a shortcourse legal truck.

i chose the Tekno kit simply because of the disk brakes and clutched motor, i drove one on the track, and simply could not beleive how well it drove, handled,braked...everything was just RIGHT.

using the mechanical brakes realllllllly takes the strain off the ESC and motor as well, temps drop dramatically.

yeah, i can take some pics of it, i'll shoot some tmrw and toss em in this thread for ya.
