Its a pretty basic question...whats the fastest 17.5 motor,Im going to be running it in a B4

I believe the Ballistic is a little higher KV than the rest of them due to the extra timing on the can. It doesnt have the most low end torque that ive come across, maybe due to the timing, but it works awesome in 2wd buggy.

I run mine in a b4.1 (no boost) and have the can timing turned up to 45.

tell ya what with 30 deg on the can and additional timing boost on the esc, that sucker flies!

It's not all about KV. KV ratings vary between manufacturers, and are typically a "no load" number, with a load two motors with the same KV can be drastically different.

We don't normally run 17.5, but I bought one of the Novak Ballistic 1300+ 17.5 and it's very strong, with or without boost.
