Default Question on part compatability

I started a new job last week and through talking to a co worker and telling her Im into RC she told me that her son raced them a few years ago. Well Im getting a killer deal on his Losi XXXT stadium truck and radio, etc. Im wondering will the new parts pit the older model? She said it was bought new about 4 years ago. Ive only been in the hobby about a year now and Im not that familiar with the Losi's
Any help on this would be great

go on losi's web site and download the manuals for the 2 vehicles and compare the part numbers. if they are using the same part, they wont change the part number.

There is a lot of interchangeability on the XXX series. Post pictures of the tranny and rear hubs. That’s where many of the changes are that do make a difference in what works.
