I hated that old paper backed servo tape. If you left on the chassis for any length of time it was hard to remove. It never really worked that well anyways.

Yup, but when it worked you got to pick the crap off 2 things, the car and the esc or receiver! It's funny how even servo tape has evolved over the years. Young pups need to pull the nipple out and thank us old dogs for paving the way..

I'll tell you one thing. Shoe goo and a some drywall joint tape sure as hell fixes any cracks in your RC car/truck body. As soon as my esc arrives, I'm mounting it with this.

+1

Been using Shoe Goo for at least 10 years myself for ESC's and receivers.

Holds like nails, and when you take it off, it is easy to get it off the chassis and ESC.

Trick is to use a heat gun and heat the chassis from underneath, it will soften it and it comes off " like butta' "
