Default SC8E RTR on 6S?

Has anyone run the new SC8E RTR on 6S?

I've seen the 24 hour endurance thing already but wondered how the MMPro will work for bashing on 6S. I don't race, just drive like I stole it so fast is the way to go.

I know they say the MMPro can handle 6S but want to hear from owners if it is reliable.

I would get the Castle ext. bec for it on 6s. I run MMM in my 1/8 stuff and have a MMP in my Hyper 10TT. I have heard more about failing MMP ESCs than any other ESC ever. I worry about mine cooking but its only on 2s so I might be alright. If you insist on running 6s you may want to pick up a MMM esc and a 1800kv motor.

Would there be heat issues with a MMM and 2200 on 6S?

Most likely. The ideal setup for 6S is around a 1500kv motor.

What speed do you think you could get with that combo?
I want lots of speed for bashing and general mayhem. Not going to race.

It's still going to be ridiculously fast if you gear it that way. 6S on a 2200kv would probably be a pain to gear for bashing. I even read, they don't recommend 6S on a 2200kv motor for anything other than speed runs. Anything else and it's going to heat up fast.

Without doing any math i would guess that combo would be good for at least 60-70 mph if you geared correctly which is not good for bashing. Thats a handful in a short course truck where so much wind gets under the body.

Yes, I have, and it's not really that much fun because the chassis can't handle the speed.

Keep in mind, however, you would need to upgrade the ESC to the Mamba Monster to run 6S ( as I have).
