Default Run Times

With the modern brushless and Lipo technology, what sort of run times can you get? I am looking at runnning a mod motor with some 5000mah+ lipos in a B44 buggy and was after an idea of how long a batt will last so that I can work out how many to order. I know an exact figure is near enough impossible to get, but a rough ball park figure would be great?

Also, is 25c enough for mod motor?

Are you racing? If so why are you so worried about run time? I only run one pack in mine simply because taking it in and out is a PIA. I've been able to pull well over 10 minutes out of mine with a 5.5 in it. Indoors I run a 7.5 and would probly run for 20 but it's not set-up to run that long, it will get hot.
My 5000/35C was pushing it with a 5.5. It would come off at about 100 deg. which is ok but I personaly don't like it.

The 5000mAh is plenty, but I'd recommend purchasing 35C or higher for Mod or Stock motor to obtain much better performance. Run time will be close to 10-15 min, but your motor or ESC will be the concern, due to causing higher heat conditions (running extended durations) and will want to keep an eye on it closely so you don't damage it. Races are usually about 5-7 min, you shouldn't have any issues. If only racing one class, you'd only need one battery. To run more often or more than one class you could consider two batteries.

Yes I will be racing, but was more interested in hoping for some long run times for practicing, so i could go out and run 20 minutes+ trying for consistency.
