I just got a 1/16 e-revo. No batterys with it. I figured I would get some lipos for it and I did. I got zippy fight max 3 cell 1500mah batterys with a parrale atachment so I can use both at the same time. I got it with the parralel because I know useing the sirise can ruin the motor and esc. Will these work well in the truck? and what gear combonations shoud I try?

Running in parallel, you don't have to change gearing, stock is good. I run mine with a pair of Turnigy 1600mah 3S 20C with stock gearing and it doesn't get hot, even after 30min runs.

I don't know about the fit with those lipos, maybe someone else actually uses them and can comment.
