Questions?? 2wd Slash steering pins

Anybody know of a stronger replacement for the stock Slash steering pins, #3640, 26mm. These are the only ones I ever bend when I race and am getting tired of straightening or purchasing an entire pin set. Thanks.

Wow you are bending those? You must be running insane speeds to bend those. I have yet to bend any of those. Mine always just back there self out in the rear.

I dont know if they are any stronger but I went and got some pins for the ruslter that are E-clipped on both ends for my slash. I didnt buy this whole kit just the 2 rears I needed.

Not really, was bending them with the stock Titan motor. Don't try to hit anything either, just during normal racing, landing at an angle, scuffing walls, etc...Was advised to upgrade to alum carrier blocks on another forum. I'd bend them with the stock parts and the RPM upgrade. Thanks for the tip at Tower Hobbies.

Added note, these are the vertical pins that run up through the front bearing carriers. Mine have never backed out w/ blue loctite applied. Will the Rustler set you mentioned fit this? I purchased the Lunsford pin set for the Slash, but it doesn't come with the vertical pins, just the horizontal hinge pins. Thanks again.

Drill the carrier and steering block out to 1/8" and use a shortened rear A-arm screw pin. I did that in a Rustler after I bent two steering pins and raced it for another 6 years after that (before the class died) without having to replace those pins.
