My home work bench.

To be fair, my home bench has seen worse. Need to finish some shelving and get a better computer, and bigger flat screen.

*for some reason my track pit space isn't uploading.

I built this box to save time setting up and packing up at the track.

Radio, charger, batteries, tools, spare parts, manuals fit inside the box. Vehicle is bungee'd to the top. Handles on the side of the box, so I can carry it easily.

So, when I get to the track, I:
1) Set it down
2) Remove truck from the top
3) Open it up
4) Plug it in
5) Go.

I need to figure out a good way to mount the charger - on an angled stand or something. Years ago, I had a power supply and a Competition Electronics charger mounted on the top shelf.

That makes no sense to me. LOL

When you work on intricate things you want to be in the most relaxed and comfortable position in order to ensure you cover every last little detail. Pit mats (WAY OVERPRICED Yoga Mats) are roughly the size of a table and to work on a table you usually sit. When you're standing you're usually further away from your work so sitting would be advantageous.
