Questions?? Team Associated B4 with Lipo, adding weights, where and how much?

Hi,

I'm new here at the forum.
I drive a B4, with Nimh cells, but this year, we going to drive lipo's in our club.
So my question is; Where and how much weight do I put in my B4?

The minimum weight of the car needs to be 1474 grams, I think this is not enough because the car is to light?

Thanks,
Martijn.

Once you run the lipo, you can diagnose. If the car doesn't steer you can add weight closer to the front, if you want more rear traction put the weight closer to the rear. Or just use it to balance side to side.

Shouldn't need weight, adjust car for lighter weight.

Look on the AE website. It's generally an ounce under the suspension mount/behind tranny and 1/4 oz or so in each rear triangle.

Actually, we used to put them in the little hole in front of tranny/under the wing mounts.....until we figured out the suspension. You can fit about 1.25-1.5 oz. under there, gotta get creative though. Depending on weight of battery, it wont be much.
