I'm almost ready to ship the new conversion kits along whit the new lightened kits for the 408 made by CF shock towers, rear end riser and a couple of ackermann bars for more tuning possibilities
What does the rear end riser do? I saw that in the other thread. Isn't that the same as raising the inner camber link? It's adj. rollcenter correct? I'm still waiting for you to sell me yours How much weight are you saving by going with CF parts? Thanks.......

The CF weights about 1/2 of the same parts made in ergal7075, when I'll have the parts ready I'll let you know
Yes, the rear end riser will modify the roll center, it's not like change your camber link the car it's already amazing, same of the official driver are testing this new parts very successfully, so I want to try this modify by myself

Stefano, can you send me a pm with the price of the carbon kit? And is there any difference in the new conversion kits compared to the first batch? Thank you!

Here are some pics of my DEX408 with "a little" mod

Just crappy pics from the phone, once i have it all done i will take the camera and show in detail the features of this conversion

very nice work Oscar!! it's just like the dex410 how about the front and rear bracer, are you still working on them? and what is your runtime/weight in this configuration?
The new series of kit feature only a new diff top plate, if you are interested in my carbon fiber lightened kit, I'll make to all my previous customers a special price, and of course I'll ship the new top plate for free
I don't know the final price yet, but it will be in line with the price of the other manufacturers!
Keep us update on your great project!

Both stiffeners are in the works, i will make them tomorrow if possible. I don't have access to CNC machining so it takes some time...That's why parts aren't very good looking, but that's old school prototyping charm
I'll weight the car when it's finished, but i already know the chassis is 33g lighter after being milled.
With your conversion it was around 3450g RTR, i think it's going to be similar. I hope to get close to 3200g with carbon parts and some other tricks in the future
Batteries are 2x2200mah 3S in parallel, runtime is more than 10 minutes, not bad.

I look forward to see those carbon parts you're working on

Hi guys!
I've some kits back in stock,
As always in order to ship I'll need your:

-full name
-complete address
-phone number
-email
-please specify if it needs to be shipped to a company or a single person

Once I've received all the information, I'll send you a mail with the link to my paypal account(you can pay directly in €, and paypal will do the conversion to your currency), when I'll receive the payments I'll do my best to ship the kits in the following 24h(monday to friday).
Thanks

Default Batteries

What batteries is everyone running. I have some brand new SMC 65c 4s batts but there is no way they are fitting under the stock body.

Any info would be great!

I'm using hyperion ex 4s 4200mah 45/90C, perfect to finish a 10 minutes A main. Many of my customers are running turnigy lipos 5000mah 40C as well as orion carbonmolecular lipos and many more.
Check this, Frank have put on his conversion a very big lipo(I think 5200 4s)
http://www.rctech.net/forum/8592620-post99.html
He have only cut away a small part of the body in order to fit his pack
