i think this thread is great. the vorza thread showed me so much about that buggy. it would have taken 10 years and much $ to come up with that info on my own.

good luck
Reading information on a companies website is useless. They will all claim to be the best. The best information you can find is on the forums. Will Losi tell you that their front CVD will burn out in a few races? No. Will Ofna tell you that their motor mount is a POS? No. That is information that can be found here on the forums.

i agree, but you also need to think about parts. things will break on any buggy, specifically 1/8 scale bc they can go faster than most any rc. do the shops around you carry parts? are the parts really expensive. go on hobby shop web sites and click on the parts listing to compare spares pricing.

+1 . Though, I have to say, I have seen some company reps admit issues with there vehicles and work to improve them on the boards.

Caster Racing and JQ Products are the only ones I know of for actual car manufacturers.

RCTech has been a phenominal tool for us in regards to research and development and we thank everyone who has offered their opinions through the years. Our cars are comparable to anyone in regards to durability thanks to you.

I would agree with hakmazter from what I saw of the pro models they can take a beating and they have really gotten on any issues that are found with them. I really like the changes they made to fully protect the battery trays with the chassis plate compared to the first version where they were alittle exposed.
