Pro-line bow fighter tires for sc what do you think???
#2
I've been thinking about getting them. I have tried similar buggy tires, but not on SC. I liked my City Blocks on my buggy better than Bowfighter type knobbies, so i may be sticking to those for a while.
I do enjoy my JC Subcultures on my SCT, for what ever that's worth.

WELL....
I HAVE A MIXED SET... TWO BOWFIGHTERS M4 AND 2 HOLESHOT M4.... TRACK HAD A BLUE GRUVE LEFTOVER FROM THE LAST WEEKS RACE... IT RAINED A LITTLE THAT MORNING NO MUD BUT THE TRACK WAS ALL WET. RUNNING THE BOWFIGHTER REAR... ME AND MOST WERE SLIPPING THE REAR. IT STARTED TO DRY OUT I SWITCHED THE FRONTS TO THE BACK SO HOLESHOT IS IN THE REAR... MAN... IT WAS HOOKED UP! SO.. ITS HARD TO SAY BUT MY BACK END WAS COMMING AROUND WITH THOSE IN THE BACK!
(BOWFIGHTERS) I THINK ON A NON HARD SERFICE THEY WOULD BE GREAT. JUST THAT WHEN I PUT THE HOLESHOTS ON THE BACK I COULD DO WHAT I WANTED THROUGH THE TURN WITHOUT THE BACK COMMING AROUND!

the bow fighters r a good tire on a loamy to a loose track condition...awesome on a new track...once the track to starts to come around and get a pretty good groove...u r going to want a different set of tires tho...thats just my opinion tho

Good to hear opinions on the Bow-Fighter
I suggest them in the rear for any loomy wet track(a track that has fluff all the time and is consistently watered). The Holeshot works better on a track like this when there is a "racing line" or some of the fluff has moved to the sides of the track and you can see the base dirt.
I used them at Milestone Ranch not too long ago and they were hooked up!
If your track does have a racing line and you are using Holeshots, I suggest the Bow-Fighters up front in an M2 or M3 compound(depending on how much bite you like) as they are also an excellent steering tire!
Thanks for the positive results! Let us know if you have any other questions or need help with track/tire suggestions!

BUT WITH THE HOLESHOT IN THE REAR

Bowfighter M3 has become my tire of choice for the front. The rounded profile offers more consistent front bite in most conditions. I like them even when the track grooves up. I'll run Double Dee's or Enduro's on hard pack and Subcultures or Calibers on a soft track.
