I'm wondering the same...I usually see LRP or Tekin esc's...haven't seen anyone run a Novak in a while...is there a reason for that?

I can't comment on the latest Novak ESC's but drive a GTB, then any LRP and then a Tekin RS series. You'll see why nobody is running the GTB's anymore.

I run a gtb and beat lrp and tekin. I think it is just a name thing. Sure you can tune them anyway you want... But so you need them. I fried a gtb so imight upgrade but i think gtb is enough for me. Lol just drive better.

My friend has the new kinetic. I ran it for the first time last week and it is everything you ever wanted in a speed control. Very smooth and powerful. PC interface and everything. Will be my next speed control for sure. If you decide to buy it, you will not be disappointed. All of them are good. Just personal preferences.

I have a havok ESC and it's terrible compared to my Tekin stuff. GTB, Havok ect don't have the timing advance and adjusibility of the tekin. LRP is good, I prefer the braking on LRP escs.

On topic, I've heard from a few guys at the track that the Kinetic is pretty good. For the money I'd rather have Tekin though. I know it works well and it's smaller.

It's a bummer that it is the same price as tekin. If you spend that much mise well get tekin. But trade in go with novak.

I run all 3!! To each his own the tekin's felt faster. But The GTB's are
still competitive. If you go with the sphere competition that is the
top of the line esc LRP ever produced. I really cant explain which one is
better, just pick one of the three.

The Tekin has the smallest footprint out there. I run the Kinetic and it has been fantastic. It has more features than the Tekin and the Castle ESCs. Critical features to me are Current limiting, Dynamic Timing, and Throttle curves. The Novalink is easy to use and has hints built in. The Novak Kinetic is lighter too.

Novak or Nothing!

Pretty sure that the Tekin with Hotwire has at least as many functions if not more, since it is one of the most sought after ESCs out there
