Thanks Banshee!
So the 0252 won't cut it? It's half the price, and I'm sort of on a budget .. ;)

If you are on a budget, you really can't beat the Align DS620. You can pick them up on ebay for under $50. They have plenty of speed and torque, and they have titanium gears.

nice job on the 44. Question on the wiring...im puttin one together....I see ur pic..but I was wondering how the wiring can be so close to the slipper....wouldnt that be risky of gettin it caught in there. and what Steering servo are you running? any reccomendations from you guys? Thanks in advance.

Vandelay, I thought you were going with the Savox 0252MG or futaba BLS451? Did something change your mind?

It seems like the servo from the Strike is too big to fit into the B44 - do I need a new one?

Could anyone recommend a budget solution, I don't want to put too much $ into this until I know for sure I want to stick to 1/10, and not give into the urge to go 1/8.. :sneaky:

Also - it doesn't seem to be a designated space for the rx and esc, where did you guys place them and how did you fasten them?

No... stick to either the 1257TG or 1258TG which are standard size servos. Savox makes High output, mini, micro, large-scale, etc. The two I listed are the best for this application. 1257TG is plenty, 1258TG has a little more torque and a slight increase in price.

ok so lots of servo talk, i see the 1251 savox will fit, but my issue is the 1257savox nor any of my hitecs will fit (ex 7940, 7955, 5625) the steering rack binds with any of these and funny part is my b44 never had this issue
so with that said.....
what other servos fit???

Jay, I've got a 1258 in mine.. it was barely rubbing against the decal on the case, so I was able to sand the outside of the steering arm and it clears with no binding.. If you come on Weds, I'll show you.

im working late wed, so probably not, but is the 1258 more flush than the 1257?
btw was able to get the screw out of the motor cam...longer 4-40 screw was a better idea the the setscrew!
