Personally I don't run the 22 shocks on my b4 mainly due to cost reasons. I have done testing with them and really liked them but they were not that much better than the stock shocks.

So I bought the collars and the spring cups for the stock B4.1 shocks and put my 22 shocks back on my 22 and sold it.

If i had bought a complete set of 22 shocks it would have been close to $120 for everything.

I dont know about how they fit on a b44.1 but I was able to get them to fit perfectly on my b4.1 and had more than enough droop.

No, it does not. The gear diff is for the 2wd off road cars.

I have ran the 5.5 6.5 8.5 and 10.5 all season. Reedy Sonic all the way. Ya have to try them. You can always sell it if you don't like it. I'm sure it will be true love, well it was for me.

I have an LRP X20 preordered. I will get back to you guys asap!

Mini8 Menace 03-09-2012 12:18 PM

how is the 6.5 turn thats what I'm looking at how smooth in low end and is there enough top end

crashnburn 03-09-2012 12:35 PM

I was running a LRP Vector X-12 6.5 and it has plenty of top end geared at 18/81. Always wanted to run on the hot side though. (145-156) Just a little punchy on the lower end, but controllable .
Just pulled it out to try an 8.5, so you might see my 6.5 up for sale.

I have ran the 5.5 and it is just as smooth as the 10.5. Only with more top end and power. The power band on these motors are a bit tough to describe.

So I will say its like a rubber band soft when you stretch it and the more you stretch it the tighter it gets. Most of the motors I have ran are to punchy for the infield. These motors are so smooth that if you have finger discipline you will be faster in the infield and as fast as any motor in the short and long shoots.

Best motor I have found for all round off road racing and when the track dries its a dream.
They run cool and consistent through out a 7 minute race I can tell ya that. I'm sold and its the only motor I have put any money towards all season. I'm not sponsored and can buy or test any brand I want.
Good luck on your choice. 6.5/7.5 is pretty much all you would ever need at an indoor track but the 5.5 is so smooth I enjoy the power on reserve until the straight. I melted the slipper over the weekend with the 5.5 so Its getting put on lock down till I feel like flying again. It took 2 weeks of racing and a 3 day trophy race to kill my slipper with the 5.5. If that helps.
Good luck... Its a tough choice and there are a lot of motors out there. I don't recommend many things but in the reedy line I will. And highly.
