Default Jconcepts rulux wheels and losi bk-bar DON'T FIT

Im really pissed right now. I wasted some tires. The freaken losi bk-bar rear tires are too big for the jconcepts rulux rear 1/10th wheels!

I have gotten REALLY GOOD with glueing tires and this was just an absolute disaster! Is there anything I can do? Is one of the two wheel/tire companies at fault?

It isn't completely the tires fault. Since people would complain that the tire companies (except JConcepts) would fold the foams into the tire ruining the foams, losi now puts the full foam into the tire and that stretches the tire just a little bit. Also, the tires now barely fit onto losi rims as well. You just need REALLY, REALLY good tire bands.

The trick I find is to flip them inside out and trim the bead with scissors. The bead on the Losi BKs is WIDE...

I'm thinking of going from scratch. Jus go jconcepts all the way around with bar codes. This is for a schu cat sx2.

Front tires looks ok. Rear are jacked!

The bead on the losi 1/10 tires and wheels are wider than the others. When mounting losi tires to anything other than losi wheels it helps to trim the inside of the bead like Jeel mentioned above.

Put them in an empty paint can with acetone and let them soak overnight. It will dissolve the glue. The tires will wear a little faster as they'll be softer with better bite and you'll have to get new foams but it's better than just tossing them out. This is also how you re use wheels after the tires have worn.

You could boil them off also.

If the BK Bars are pink compound do not do this . Acetone makes pinks harder not softer .
