Default SC10 Factory Team Kit

Headed to pick one up. I've got the rc bug BAAAD right now.

Anybody have the new kit yet?

I just got one and truthfully I don't see that much difference from my kids rtr 10. yea you get different shocks, a ball diff, motor sink, battery plate, pretty blue screws, a clear spur cover and some other little things. People that I know who have up graded from there sc10 rtr to the FT truck already have some of these parts. So is it really worth it? I can see one big difference, its NEW In less there's some major difference that I don't see, if you get a ball diff and shocks or have the shocks its about the same to me.

Our local guy who usually wins SC went from the normal kit to the FT and he says its lighter and he can gear it taller, and is noticably faster now...

Ball diff and threaded shocks are worth it alone. I've got electronics so ya, $215 and I'm racin.

They were closed today though. Tomorrow for sure!!!!

Fun build. One question... been years since I built an AE car/truck.

Which side of the car does the ball diff adjustment screw go on?

Does it matter?

Uhhhh, thanks for nothing. You wasted your time for that rather than to say left or right? Wow...

It doesn't say anything about it as far as I can tell. Unless it's hidden somewhere in the manual. On the build instructions itsays nothing.

Me too I didn't see which way it should go in? Anyhow, mine ended up being on the left side and the diff seems to be fine. I don't think it really matters cause either way you still have to take the camber link\wheel off to adjust on either side.

I dont have the Ft truck..I upgraded everything from a kit I bought last year.
I put my access screw for the diff on the spur side since that is the side I have to take the wheel off of to change anything as far as gearing goes,I did it mainly so I wouldnt forget what side it was on.

My apologies...it does not state which direction it goes in. Typically you want to put it in on the driver's right position or spur gear side. i had to go back to the FTB4 instruction manual to verify this. The other direction could possibly loosen your diff screw.

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like I'll have to take the transmission apart and flip the diff over.

Thanks guys. I instinctively put it on the spur side. I actually thought about which direction "could" cause it to loosen and this just made sense to me. BUT, ya never know.

I just built 2 FT SC10 and I found it odd they don't show you which side put the diff. screw on. Maybe they decided it doesn't matter. I've always put it on the spur gear side though, as stated above.
