The rotor shaft in my motor detached from the rotor shaft, so that it can free spin without actually turning the shaft. I was running normal 3S 30c batteries in my slash, with an integy heatsink/fan, so the temps were very mild. Will Traxxas send me a new motor, or at least a new rotor?
