I'm guessing it's individual lipo cells that can be plugged in together to make it 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s etc...

That's my suggestion phrased differently! :P

"Or a battery pack where you can easily remove the cells. IE: You buy a 6s pack, and you can simply pop off one or more cells for a 4-5S package."

Makes sense to me and I'm surprised it's not been done yet. Really anybody could do this with some quick disconnects
