You can do front and rear hexes in aluminum with these: http://prolineracing.com/performance...-hex-adapters/ http://prolineracing.com/performance...-hex-adapters/

Man I love this buggy. SO fun..

Had Tommy Hinz(sp) drive it. helped me get it dialed in a little better. It sticks well. ( still need better rear tires though)

Ended up going with the FT inline front axles and steering blocks. instead of Hex in the front., It added about another 5mm to the length so about +13mm total. Looks almost like a Fat losi now. lol

Buggy is very fun to drive. We changed the track last weekend and added some small whoops. Was running 35wt front and 30wt rear. Dropped the rear to 25wt felt much better. brought the ride height up to 21mm from about 18-19mm it was at before.

Love this thing. Now to get a LRP combo and sell the Novak
If anyone wants to try to setup let me know and I will post it.

Track is a fresh clay 1 week old. Wet/dusty med traction. a little rough in area's
Are you shimming the caster block back or forward? Would forward steer less?

Have you tried using a servo horn from the kit, and the servo mounts?

no b/c I dont have the kit horn...bought it as a roller used. What type of connector/screw/cap connects to the horn? Will anyone share a pic of your servo mount? thx!

Is the servo supposed to not turn to its 2 end points in this stock kit setup?

the part I dont have is 3981. I looked at the install guide and I think I can figure it out from here, but any more replies welcome.

The mounts are to large.
Install the servo mounts to the servo and shave off the left over. I had to do this in my sons Sc10 for a servo. It's to wide.

Forward. IT holds better under throttle in a turn. before it pushed badly.

I have 3 ball stud shims under the tower camber ball stud. 1 shim under the ball stud on the block, 2 bump steer shims installed.

Anyone use a trinity D3? I'm using a Tekin 7.5 in my b4.1, and it seems not to have enough low end for my track. I saw a few guys using the 13.5 D3's at my track and they smoke me. Do they have a lot more torque then my Tekin? I have not used a trinity in over 20 years. I'm guessing they are still awesome motors.

Can anyone offer any feedback on the B4.1 and T4.1 RTR brushless kits?
Just looking for something to play round with at the track on the days I cant be bothered running my nitro gear.

Are they reasonbly durable and hassle free? Want something pretty tough that requires as little attention as possible, as it is just for a bit of fun, nitro takes up most of my time with maintanance etc.

I ran a Trinity D3 8.5 motor. I loved it! Best motor I have ever used. I used to run Novak but the D3 blows it away. Im getting ready to purchase a Trinity Revtech 8.5 motor. You might want to check the Revtech motors out. Awesome stuff
