Hey,

What does placing weight in certain places do?

I run on a tight indoor track.

Right now I am running the rear ballast, and a small JConcepts weight in each rear triangle.

How would adding a small Jconcepts weight to each of the front triangles affect performance?

Thanks!

Putting weight in certain places does have a performance advantage. I have seen guys run 1/4 oz and thats it and Ive seen 3-4 oz in chassis. Both handled extreamly well. Guys use it for balance or to enhance carictoristics of their car.

I run 3/4 oz on the RX side to balance the chassis left to right and 1.5 oz in the rear of the battery tray for a little more forward traction.

If I needed more steering or if the car pushed on power, I
would adjust my setup before I would add weight. Have you tried running without any weight added??

VTS it uses stock AE spurs so easy to get. If you get the VTS I've been told to get the B44 slipper spring which allows to get the nut on and work better.

I tried without weight before. It felt ok. This is probably a bad time to ask this question becuase I still have V2 shocks and will not have my new electronics and battery until the holiday. Let me just post again once I get those installed.

I think ignoring the question is being a prick. Sarcasm is lost on most users. And style points are overrated.

But don't mind me, I'm here for the tech.

For Stock the Triad is the way to go. It is significantly lighter than the VTS setup.

If money is no option the best servo IMO is the blue radiopost one. On the cheaper side savox 1251 or spektrum 6070 are good choices.......
