With Sandy coming in and work being closed I am going to have some time to go over the used buggy I just got. What is a good base set up to use for indoor clay? My buggy currently has losi bb springs Red fronts white rears. I would like to stick with those springs for now if they are the correct ones, so I am looking for oils pistons, camber locations, shock locations, etc. Also, what about the rear ballast weight...should it be used for clay?

CAV'S westcoast setup on AE site. But those springs will work fine instead of the K-springs he uses.

I mount the C hub on the back side. Doesn't affect the handling and plenty clearance

Cleaned off the chassis with some rubbing alcohol and it seems to be holding. I'm going to go take the body off and on 50 times to see if it holds. Stress test!

when you get the chance grap the new a.e bb springs. Im using them in place of whites on my kyosho and yea they are just as good as the k ones, maybe not spec wise but on the track they feel no different.. Nicer way of labeling them with the colored heat shrink

run that setup and then play with the links and tires and also battery postion. If you can tell all the setups are so similar.

What Yankeefan123 said I mount my tower on the back of the hub but also use the . 90 black spacer that cane with them behind my ball stud on the tower.

Why do I have this feeling like this is a prank and I'm just going to wind up buying another new cover set.

Seriously? Trim the lip off?

I lost one racing today and bought a cover set but I don't want to keep doing that.
The place I used to work used those same plugs. Could believe it when I came across them. Needless to say I snagged a handful. I'll try to find out where they came from. They have to be available in bulk somewhere. Just a matter of finding out where.

I prefer the chad due reedy setup. Works really well at my track. Try it out
