Recommend using the instructions as a guide for set-up & installation .

Suggestions for set-up...

Ft

Ae green spring , 30w , 3 x .030 limiter , 1.6 piston

Rear

Ae white spring , 27.5 w, 2x.030 limiter, 1.6 piston

Will repeat , The new Ae BB springs R dialed...

Installation tips

I used the .090 spacers included on the shock tower screws , no time to grind the towers before the race...

Will be grinding the towers later , using a .030 spacer on the tower screws.

Will save grinding less material from the towers...

O-Man !
The Ae Rc10 B4.1 8mm ?

Now easier to drive & faster for everyone ....:nod

Awesome work Ae !!!
i'm running 17.5 with a shorty and minimal weight added. so you think black front and green rears with the same oils and pistons is a good starting point (i'm running orange losi fronts and yellow losi rears now).

Ok so what we are saying then is that the AE BB shocks (with their springs) are a significant upgrade over the V2 shocks with Avid BB springs (what I'm running now).

I'm just trying to confirm that I need to spend $100 on new shocks.

In mod it would be perfect, smoothes out the response. In blinky I would recommend a shorty pack with the higher c rating. Still lightweight but with the higher c should get more punch.

Your considering a
great spring combo to start with, we have med high traction .
Is why we favored a stiffer set of springs last night .

When TRCR's track layout gets change next week ?

Most will go a softer spring for extra grip ...

The 7.5 Reedy has plenty of the pony's .

Wolf pack weights 1 1/2 oz less than a 60c standard pack .
Lighter weight & the lower 25 C rating is why the Wolf rules in mod buggy right now .

And I guess a follow up to my follow up: So are you guys saying that the new AE BB springs are better than the Avid BB Springs? Has anyone tried the new BB shocks with the Avid BB Springs?

Honestly I bought the Avid spring set knowing the AE were coming out but making the assumption that the quality would be on par with the AE or better.

Will be using both brands, Ae BB springs win the best value contest as their cost is very reasonable ($5 per pair ) ...
